Day 1: night in Montreal (Saturday night)
Welcome to the Belle province! Upon your arrival, you will be met by a Mekoos representative. He will take you to the Hyatt, a deluxe hotel in downtown Montreal where you’ll be able to recover from jet lag and discover the city. Some activities will be proposed to start off your stay in Quebec. Have a nice vacation!

Lodge

Day 2: Montreal-Mekoos (Snowmobiling: 80 km)
After breakfast, a bus will take you to the Mekoos, about 3 ½ hours from Montreal. You will be greeted by the Dumoulin family and its team with a welcome cocktail, a delicious local mead. Once you’ve settled into your room or chalet, we will give you the “Big Chill” clothing you will be wearing throughout your stay. You will receive training and safety instructions for your first snowmobile ride: 80 km on our try out trails to familiarize yourself with your vehicle. When you return from your ride, you’ll sit down to a delicious meal prepared by our chef with our own local flavours. And let’s not forget the outdoor spa, perfect to soothe those sore muscles and relax under a starlit sky.

Day 3: Mekoos-Notawissi (Snowmobiling: 160 km)
We left the outfitter for a raid 4 days snowmobiling; And the adventure begins! Your guide will lead you towards the outfitter Scott Denis where we host for lunch on this trip you will discover the extensive forests of Quebec and the dam and reach the Lady Otter, located on the Lièvre River, height 20 meters. After your meal you cross the large reservoir Mitchinamecus then take the trail Notawissi to go to the outfitting of the same name. Arriving at Club Notawissi Josée and Maxime welcome you for dinner and overnight. Very nice evening in prospect with good people nice.

Day 4:  Notawissi - Club Gatineau (Snowmobiling: 160 km)
You will leave the outfitter for you in the municipality of Ste-Anne Lake you will run along the shores of Lake Tapani to stop taking lunch at Relais du leisure or Steeve and his team will receive you. After dinner, you can cross paths along the little river Notawissi and the Gatineau River. Arriving at Club Gatineau, Marc and Nathalie welcome you for dinner and overnight. Marc will be happy to tell her repertoire of stories of our region.

Day 5:  Club Gatineau- Club Fontbrune  (Snowmobiling: 160 km)

Club Fontbrune
You will leave the wilderness along other portions of the Gatineau River, taking the time to stop a snake falls and falls Caesar, two beautiful attractions of the region, and then direct you to the Club Fontbrune located on the shores of Lake when Piscatonsin Eric and Marie-Josée you welcome. In the evening you can go relax in the sauna or hot tub under the stars.

Day 6: Club Fontbrune – Mekoos  (Snowmobiling: 160 km)
You continue your trip to the snow storm tracks to go in the area of the mountain of the devil, another must-visit attraction in the upper Laurentians. Its highest peak at 783m you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the entire region and reservoir Baskatong, an inland sea of 320 km2. You will then towards Ferme-Neuve for a dining experience typical country meal at the sugar shack. On the menu, pea soup, baked beans, ears bastards, sausages and ham, all topped with maple syrup.

ÉrabliereJocelyne " Sugar Shack of 4 Spring" will be happy to tour the owner with you and explain all stages of manufacture of maple syrup. You can taste the famous maple taffy on snow, enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. After a delicious meal, you will go to the outfitter Mekoos, from Chute-St-Philippe or is one of the largest deer ravaging the region. Get out your cameras because you get a chance to see several of these deer. However, be careful because they could find themselves in the snowmobile trail. Sebastian will be waiting for the aperitif to the main salon. After a gourmet dinner from our chef, you will find the comfort of our facilities for a night of well deserved rest.

Day 7: Mekoos (Dogsledding)
You’ll be setting aside your snowmobile today to enjoy the unforgettable experience of dogsledding. You will set off with an authentic musher and his husky dogs for a dogsledding ride of about 20 km on our special trails.  It’s an amazing opportunity to travel back to the olden days and develop a special relation with the dogs. A guaranteed thrilling experience! Lunch will take place in the forest, around a campfire on which you’ll be able to grill your sandwiches. After this wonderful experience, you will return to the comfort of the main lodge where the entire team will be waiting for you for dinner.

Day 8: Mekoos-Montréal  
After a delicious breakfast, the entire Dumoulin family will be saying farewell… that is, until your next stay with us. A bus will take you back to Montreal, making a stop downtown for those of you who would like to purchase some souvenirs of your wonderful adventure in Quebec. Afterwards, it’s back to Trudeau Airport. You’ll be flying home, your mind filled with splendid images of the past week.
