Day 1: night in Montreal (Saturday night)
Welcome to the Belle province! Upon your arrival, you will be met by a Mekoos representative. He will take you to the Hyatt, a deluxe hotel in downtown Montreal where you'll be able to recover from jet lag and discover the city. Some activities will be proposed to start off your stay in Quebec. Have a nice vacation!

Motoneige CanadaDay 2: Montreal-Mekoos (Snowmobiling: 80 km)
After breakfast, a bus will take you to the Mekoos, about 3 ½ hours from Montreal. You will be greeted by the Dumoulin family and its team with a welcome cocktail, a delicious local mead. Once you’ve settled into your room or chalet, we will give you the “Big Chill” clothing you will be wearing throughout your stay. You will receive training and safety instructions for your first snowmobile ride: 80 km on our try out trails to familiarize yourself with your vehicle. When you return from your ride, you’ll sit down to a delicious meal prepared by our chef with our own local flavours. And let’s not forget the outdoor spa, perfect to soothe those sore muscles and relax under a starlit sky.

Day 3: Mekoos-Club Gatineau (Snowmobiling: 200 km)
Let the adventure begin! We will be leaving the outfitter for a 5 day snowmobile excursion. Your guide will take you towards Ste-Anne-du-Lac on your way to Club Fontbrune, where Éric and Marie-Josée will be welcoming you for lunch. But first of all, a stopover at Montagne du Diable (Devil’s Mountain) is a must. We will be taking a break at the peak, which reaches 783 m at its highest point and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the region! Afterwards we will be riding along the Rivière Gatineau and stopping at the Serpent and Ceizur falls, two beautiful attractions in the region. Marc and Nathalie will greet you upon your arrival at Club Gatineau where you will be having dinner and be staying for the night. A nice evening with wonderful people awaits you.

Raid motoneige Day 4: Club Gatineau- Clova (Snowmobiling: 250 km)
After a lumberjack-style breakfast, you will set off for the longest day of the journey towards Clova, a small village established on the fringes of Haute-Mauricie, at 320 km to the north of the nearest town, Mont-Laurier. You will ride on the Sentier des Draveurs, a special trail set up to link the Haute-Mauricie and Upper Laurentian regions. This extensive trail passes through an uninhabited area of close to 200 km. We will stop at the Relais Entre-deux for lunch and then continue riding towards our destination where our host Dominic will be welcoming us to the Auberge Clova where we will be having dinner and be staying for the night. This charming inn used to be an old school which was completely transformed and renovated.

Day 5: Clova- Kanawata (Snowmobiling: 240 km)
After a nice breakfast, you will be taking to the snowy trails towards the village of  Parent. The Rivière Bazin runs across the territory of this logging village which is also studded with lakes. We will be having lunch at the local restaurant and will set off again on the snowy trails towards Kanawata, located on the shores of the majestic Kempt Reservoir. Your stay at this beautiful outfitter will be a welcome experience in this uninhabited territory. Dinner and night at Kanawata.

Day 6: Kanawata-CanadAventure ( Snowmobiling: 200 km)
After breakfast, you will get back on your snowmobile to continue your journey in the Lanaudière region. After a few kilometres, we will arrive at Lac Taureau, an immense reservoir of an incredibly complex shape, covering a total of 95 sq. km. This region is very popular with snowmobiling enthusiasts. After those 200 km or so, you will be stopping at the magnificent Auberge CanadAventure where you’ll be warmly greeted by Jean-Pierre. After this hard day of riding, you’ll be overjoyed to relax in the “Ventre de l’ours”: an intriguing subterranean spa and sauna. You will be having dinner and spending the night in this superb establishment.

CanadAventureDay 7: CanadAventure- Mekoos ( Snowmobiling: 200 km)
After breakfast, it’s back on the trails for the last day of the journey. We will be heading towards the Atikamekw Indian Reserve, the Algonquin nation of Manawan. Lunch will take place at the restaurant Chez Elisabeth, a meeting place for all the snowmobilers riding in this area. We will be ending our journey in the afternoon and returning to the Mekoos . where Sébastien will be waiting for you for drinks in the main lounge. A perfect time to relax, look back on your journey and ask yourself when you’ll be coming back. Gourmet dinner and night at the Mekoos.

Day 8: Mekoos-Montreal
After a delicious breakfast, the entire Dumoulin family will be saying farewell... that is, until your next stay with us. A bus will take you back to Montreal, making a stop downtown for those of you who would like to purchase some souvenirs of your wonderful adventure in Quebec. Afterwards, it's back to Trudeau Airport. You'll be flying home, your mind filled with splendid images of the past week.
