SNOWMOBILE SAFETY

Your safety is very important to us.

You will receive training and safety instructions for your first snowmobile ride on our try out trails to familiarize yourself with your vehicle. All our guides have a basic knowledge of mechanics to fix your snowmobile in case of a minor problem.

The guides are responsible for your safety and making sure the program runs smoothly. They are fully empowered to put a stop to any dangerous behaviour.

IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE

The guides are also equipped with a satellite telephone in order to call for help in the event of an accident or major breakdown.

Our guides who are experts in their field. Our team is highly qualified, with 6 permanent guides who know the territory inside out. Totalling several years of experience, (up to 15 years for some), they will make sure you have a thrilling and fulfilling adventure during your stay. Their main goal is to satisfy you and make sure you have an unforgettable vacation.

TRAPPER GUIDE

Alain is an authentic coureur des bois, with close to 25 years of trapping experience. He has been with us for seven years now and we are proud to have him on our team. He has a thorough knowledge of his trapping territory and will be happy to introduce you to this ancestral activity. You will learn how to safely manipulate a trap and what trapping techniques are used for different species. He will explain to you the animals’ habits and help you identify the most common animal tracks. You will be reassured to learn about the ethics governing this activity and come to understand why trapping plays a role in the sound management of wildlife resources.
