GETTING TO MEKOOS CLUB
An hour by car from Mont Laurier, Mekoos is less than 3 hours from Montreal and Ottawa. You can easily get to Mekoos by car on good roads. For the last 26.8 km, you will take a well-maintained gravel road.
From Montreal
- Take Highway 15 and Highway 117 to Lac Saguay.
- At 11.5 km north of Lac Saguay, turn right at the sign Chute Saint-Philippe.
- Go another 4 km to the junction of Highway 311. Take it north (to the right) to Lac Saint-Paul.
- At the end of Lac Saint-Paul village, take the first intersection ("Chemin des Pionniers") on the right, which changes to "Chemin Pérodeau".
- Follow the signs "Pourvoirie Mekoos" (Mekoos Outfitters) to the white cross and turn left. Only 26 km to Mekoos.
From Ottawa
- Ottawa to Mont-Laurier on Highway 309.
- From Mont-Laurier to Ferme-Neuve using Highway 309 north.
- Cross the bridge at the Ferme-Neuve church and follow the road towards Lac Saint-Paul.
- Go 13.7 km from the Ferme-Neuve bridge to Lac St-Paul and you will come to a STOP sign (ARRÊT). Continue straight for 5.1 km to the white cross.
- At the white cross, turn left. Only 26 km to Mekoos.
